Logan Juliano
Logan Juliano holds a master’s degree in Performance Studies from New York University, and a doctorate in Theater and Performance Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. Their research on media and performance has been published in Theater Journal and the International Journal of Cultural Studies. Their dissertation, Transcoded Identities in Games and Play, employed theories of identification—sexuality, gender, race, and nation—to consider where and how these structures emerge in media like mobile applications, social media platforms, and videogames.
They have been with Writing Programs since Spring of 2013. Their composition courses emphasize critical analysis of advertising, movies, and media. They also have experience teaching English as a Second Language in Spain, Korea, and the United States.
